this introductory workshop will teach you how improving joint health increases strength, mobility & movement fluidity
FRC® (Functional Range Conditioning) is a science~backed joint training system designed for all levels ... from complete beginners to athletes alike. it focuses on developing superior joint function so you can move better, feel stronger & increase your useable ranges of motion
it ISNT flexibility training! FRC® is an active, intentional & methodical loading of tissues at end ranges to create real neurological & physical adaptations. this approach translates into increased range of motion, better movement quality & true MOBILITY. FRC® creates ranges of motion that you can CONTROL!
WHAT ARE CARs?
CARs (Controlled Articular Rotations) are slow, deliberate articular (fancy word for joint) patterns that:
-> assess how well your joints function
-> expand, create & control movement at your END RANGES OF MOTION
-> improve mobility which ~ in turn ~ creates flexibility
-> support long~term joint health
... think of them as daily maintenance for your joints!
in this 3~hour introductory workshop, you will:
-> learn the difference between flexibility & mobility (NO!! they're NOT the same thing!)
-> understand how your joints function & why control matters
-> explore progressive & regressive joint angles ~ in simple terms
-> discover your personal articular capacity
-> learn a 12~minute daily CARs routine you can begin at home immediately
WHO SHOULD COME?
-> BEGINNERS & people who want a more active lifestyle
-> everyone feeling tight or stiff
-> everyone wanting healthier joints
-> athletes looking to improve the quality & control of their movement
this workshop is designed for all levels & is the required pre~requisite for participation in our regular FRC® classes & future advanced FRC® workshops
if you want to move better & build strength where it matters most ~ this is where you start!
